What the service is

Newark Trusted Water Heater is a free service for homeowners in Newark and Essex County. You describe a water heater job through the form, and the request is passed to a local company that does that kind of work. That company contacts you and, if the job suits them, gives you a price.

Who does the work

The company you hire does the work, and any agreement for it is between you and that company. They are responsible for the work itself, for holding the licence New Jersey requires for it, for the permit and inspection it needs, and for any warranty they give. Newark Trusted Water Heater is not a party to that agreement and does not do plumbing work.

What the service cannot promise

The prices, rules and figures on these pages are general information, taken from the sources each page names and checked on the dates it gives. They are not a quote for your job and not legal advice. Your town's construction office decides what a particular installation needs, and the company quoting sets its own price.

Pages link to outside sources such as the state's code, utilities and manufacturers. Those sites are run by others, and this site does not control what they say or whether they stay up.

Using the form

Send a request only for a property you own or look after, with your own details. Do not use the form to advertise, to send someone else's details, or to test it with invented ones. If a request looks like a bot filled it in, it may be ignored.

Responsibility
